Ashton Poston is a marketing major with a concentration in sales at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, and I’m also completing a Data Analytics & Visualization Certificate. I previously earned my Associate’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Lancaster, where I built a strong foundation in business and developed an interest in using technology to improve performance and decision-making.

 

Throughout my academic and work experience, I’ve developed strong communication and interpersonal skills through customer-facing roles in fast-paced environments. These experiences have helped me become adaptable, confident, and comfortable working with a wide range of individuals while learning how to solve problems efficiently.

 

I have a strong interest in the growing role of AI in business and have gained hands-on experience working with multiple AI platforms and tools. I’ve used AI to build websites for class projects, summarize large amounts of information into more efficient formats, and create interactive tools that improve learning and retention. These experiences have helped me understand how AI can streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support better decision-making.

 

I’m currently focused on combining my background in business, sales, and data analytics with AI tools to create meaningful value for organizations, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing in this space.
